The British Postal Museum & Archive hold more than 100,000 photographs in their collection from the late 19th Century to the 1990’s.

The Post Office in Pictures is an exhibition showcasing some of the iconic images.

We worked with the museum on all aspects of the exhibition, including choosing the final photographs, all printed material, the layout of the space and commissioning of bespoke walls and a display table.

For the design of the exhibition we took clues from postage and packaging, wanting the photographs to look as though they had been packed away in an archive and literally had their boxes opened and put straight onto the walls.
