Royal Aeronautical Society - Project info

A picture might tell a thousand words, but in the case of the Royal Aeronautical Society’s logo, they were a jumble. It featured so many elements that each struggled to be seen. We simplified it, re-drawing the kestrel (which went through numerous versions, and was approved by a member of the RSPB), placing it above the globe, and adding stars to suggest the industry's new frontier: space.

We also worked with the society to introduce a modern, bold template of layouts and fonts that could be used across its website and all of its publications. Previously each department commissioned work separately, so there was no consistency in its visual communication. Our work helped it achieve a professional and authoritative look.

We were contracted by Sunday Publishing for this job, and worked with
them from pitch right through to completion.
